God Bless The Child

I was running errands and I put a Christmas tape in and this was the first song that I heard.  I am not sure why this song is on the CD but it seems to fit what I am trying to build with this blog. The CD is called The Gift of Song.   I know I just did a video lesson but I just felt that I needed to do this one and Shania Twain sings it beautifully.  It doesn't show any scenes that are hard to look at, it is just Shania Twain, a choir, and a girl playing on the banjo. It is more the words that are impactful.


As you are listening to this video I want you to remember that all of us have something that has shaped us into the person we currently are.  So many things happen to us while growing up that shapes us and causes us to fall into the pit of depression and just causes us to live a life that is stuck.  That is when I ask myself, "can this situation be used somehow"?  We are told we should always try to look for the positive in every situation.  I know most of the time....in those dark places.....there seems to be no good.....and how am I going to heal from this....and I can't find anything that is good.  But what I want to let you know that once you are healed, and even while you are healing, you can help those who are still stuck and without hope and that is a gift you can give this Holiday Season. 

God can and will heal you so that you can help others. He will turn that ugly situation into a beautiful gift so that you can give that gift away. 

This video talks about so many hardships we can experience in a lifetime.  But there is a wonderful Light that can shine through and you can be a light to those around you.  Plus, most women can show a wonderful all together appearance on the outside but are hopelessly lost on the inside.  I know that, I am one of those women.  But I will try to remember the truth that I am loved, cherished, and I am enough just the way I am.   So watch this video with the thought on how your gift can help others.....they need you....just as I need you.

Now you may be wondering how will I know who to reach out to, well God will place them in your life and then you will know.  So take watch of the people in your life, your friends...your neighbor......your co-worker...and the grocery store clerk, they are out there in your life right now.   So I say "God Bless The Child who hungers for freedom, inner healing, and that helping hand held out in love"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
