Where Have I Been?

So why haven't I posted lately you ask?  Well, the past few weeks has been full of trying moments, especially when our computer got a BIG virus and had to be brought in to be repaired.  Yikes!!  Luckily nothing was lost.  This took over two weeks and really was hard not having the computer to do all my stuff on.  But then it kinda was nice at the same time because it gave me time to work on other things like my product for the store.  I have so many ideas for items so be watching for new product.  Right now I have journals but I am working on some 4x6 photo books, and Reader's Digest journals. Reader's Digest Journal?

When I went to visit my bestest of friend Tania last year (was it last year?) I stopped at this Women's Christan Thrift Store and bought a ton of Reader's Digest books just for the covers.  The backseat of my car was filled with them and they were so pretty with all the different covers.   I plan on turning them into journals with my own flair of course.  I have so much fun creating new things and just love book type items.

This winter I decided that I am going to create my sunny days with playing in my studio and spending time with my truthteller(God).  This was part of the class I took with Melody Ross.  It showed us what the truths were about ourselves and that revealed the lies we believe and face everyday.   To me God gives the truth I need to live each day full of sunshine and joy.  So stay tuned because I will be dedicating a section called "What's The Truth" and this will give you beautiful truths about yourself which will give you such peace.

Plus, the BIG NEWS....my etsy store is open!! It has only taken a year but I had a goal and I made it!!!  There is something to achieving a goal you set out to do isn't it?  It has got me motivated which is just what I needed since winter is coming with all the cloudy days. 

This is the Store Banner for my shop and I love it but it could change depending on what I come up with later.  I just wanted to have something up there when it opened and this was the design I came up with in a pinch.  I love ornate frames and textured wallpaper and of course I am always drawn to use my photo book cover of a lady I painted.  I associate her with me I guess because I want to use her a lot for things like this.
